Azzurra is an Italian seafood restaurant in the heart of Chelsea with an outdoor terrace on Sloane Street and, open daily from noon. We’re just a few steps from Sloane Square and we serve our full menu outside, from oysters and crudo at the raw bar through to handmade pasta, whole grilled fish and our signature Lobster Linguine. Al Fresco Italian Seafood

There’s no separate terrace menu at Azzurra. Everything the kitchen serves inside is available outside, and that starts with the raw bar. The morning’s catch lands from British waters and goes straight to the counter as oysters, crudo and yellowtail tartare.

From there, the à la carte includescovers handmade pasta, risotto and whole fish grilled simply with Sicilian olive oil and Calabrian chilli. The Lobster Linguine is the dish most people come back for. If you’re here for a lighter stop between the Sloane Street boutiques, the set lunch is two courses from £28.

Cocktails on the Terrace

You don’t need to book dinner to use the terrace. The bar menu is available outside all day, so you can drop in for a couple of cocktails and a plate of oysters without committing to a full meal. Our signature drink is the Azzurra Sgroppino, made tableside with Beluga Noble vodka, Italicus, lemon sorbet and Prosecco, always stirred, never shaken. It’s built for two.

The bar stays open until 11:30pm every night, well after the kitchen closes. The terrace is just as good for a late Azzurra Spritz as it is for an aperitivo before dinner.

Lunch, Dinner or Just a Drink

The terrace is open from noon every day. The set lunch starts at £28 for two courses or £33 for three, and the full à la carte is also available. Midday is when the terrace gets the most sun, so book early if you want a long lunch in the sunshine between the Sloane Street boutiques.

Evenings on the terrace are quieter. The set dinner menu is available Sunday to Friday from 5pm, two courses for £45 or three for £50. On Saturdays, Azzurra hosts live jazz from 7:30pm until 10pm, and the terrace is one of the best spots in the restaurant to hear it.

Azzurra is at 127-128 Sloane Street, at the south end near Sloane Square. The station is a three-minute walk on the District and Circle lines, and the King’s Road is just round the corner. If you’re coming from the Knightsbridge end, Sloane Street runs straight down from Harvey Nichols, with the boutiques and Cadogan Place gardens on the way.

The Saatchi Gallery and Duke of York Square are about five minutes south, and Cadogan Hall is next door on Sloane Terrace. The terrace faces west, so you get the afternoon and evening light through the summer.
